June Play Box

How is June almost over?! I know I say that every month but this time it means that half the year is gone and I just can’t believe it. But the end of the month also means another Sephora Play Box unboxing, so lets see what I got this month!

This months box was all about Summer. I LOVE the little bag everything came in this month. The neon light effect and the palm tree is giving me major Miami vibes. As usual I received 5 deluxe samples plus a little bonus.

This Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Miracle Volume mist promises to make your hair supermodel amazing. Spray on damp hair before you blow dry and it plumps the hair to give you more volume. It is also supposed to help with damage and breakage.

This is a new product from Milk Makeup (which I just reviewed some of their products here). This is their Kush High Volume Mascara. This has a natural bristle traditional shaped brush. This formula has fibers in it to help build drama and volume. The innovative part of this is that it contains cannabis oil that helps condition your lashes and prevent fallout.

I love this adorable little Too Faced Melted Matte lipstick in the shade Queen B. I’m excited to try this liquid lipstick formula but I also love when miniature packaging is the same as the normal packaging, just smaller.

To help take the mascara and lipstick off I got this little Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover. This stuff is a cult favorite, even in its balm form, and for good reason! If you wear a lot of makeup or long lasting products this will take everything off without tugging on your skin. I’ve never had problems with this stinging my eyes when I’ve used it to remove mascara and liner. This small size is perfect for travel so I’ll probably keep it in my travel bag.

To hydrate after a long day the True Cream Aqua Bomb from Belif will do the trick. This is a light gel-cream moisturizer which makes it perfect for normal/combo/oily skin. I’ve received this little sample before through another play box and redeeming points in Sephora and I love this stuff. Again little containers like this I keep to put in my travel bag.

Lastly, the little perfume bonus is Candy Sugar Pop from Prada. This perfume is a bright, crisp, lightly sweet scent that will be great for summer, can’t wait to try it out!

After last months box wasn’t a big hit for me, I’m pretty happy with this box. Which product would you want a full review on? Let me know in the comments! blogsig

That mascara looks quite good! Great post! It’d mean a lot if you went to go check my recent one out! X

I’ve been wanting to try out Play! What do you think of it? Would you recommend that I try it out or instead signup for a different makeup subscription service?!

    1. I really love it! I had Ipsy for over a year and I like the Sephora one much better. The products are better quality, I like that they are brands I’ve heard of. And if I like something enough I know exactly where I can buy it.

I recently cancelled my subscription to Ipsy because I just felt like I wasn’t getting what I wanted out of it but I love the idea of a makeup subscription service so I want to find a new one. I am between Play! by Sephora and Boxycharm. Between the two, which do you suggest?

      2. I’ve never tried Boxycharm so I can’t say. But Sephora is only $10 a month like Ipsy. I’m not sure how much Boxycharm is.
